Patrick J. Hogan, DO
Dr. Hogan has been in private practice since 1988 and is the current director of Puget Sound Neurology. He specializes in treating patients with movement disorders and migraines. He is passionate about providing integrative care to his patients emphasizing the need to combine lifestyle interventions with traditional medical treatment.
Leslie Casias, ARNP
Leslie joined the Puget Sound Neurology team in 2016. Leslie Casias primarily focuses on headache disorders, specifically migraine. She offers her patients medication management, as well as procedures including Botox injections, Sphenocath, Occipital Nerve Blocks.
She grew up in Texas and graduated from Texas Woman University. Leslie worked as an Emergency Room nurse before returning to get her graduate degree from University of Texas at Arlington. She has since been working in neurology, sub- specializing in headache disorders since 2011. Leslie lives with her husband and 2 dogs in Seattle. On her spare time enjoys swimming, traveling, taking photos of her dogs and shoe shopping.
Sharon K. Jung, ARNP, CAQ in Headache Medicine
Sharon Jung has been with Puget Sound Neurology since 1999. She has a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in nursing from Pacific Lutheran University. She also hold the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Certification and is a Certified Neurosciences Registered Nurse. Sharon recently passed the Certificate of Added Qualification Exam in Headache Medicine, this qualification is awarded through the National Headache Foundation.
Sharon is a lifelong resident of Tacoma. Before beginning her Neuroscience practice, she worked on a medical-surgical hospital floor. She also worked in the Education field.
She currently lectures to the medical community on Headache/Migraine and Parkinson’s/Movement Disorders throughout Western Washington and has received numerous awards for her community service. Sharon has built her practice with compassionate care, particularly for those patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
Sharon is also an avid runner, having competed numerous marathons.
So Hee Kim, ARNP, CAQ in Headache Medicine
So Hee Kim, DNP, AGNP, ARNP joined Puget Sound Neurology in June 2021. She is a board-certified registered nurse practitioner with an interest in headache and cervical dystonia. She received her Doctoral degree in Adult and Gerontology Nursing Practice from University of Washington in 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1998 and Master of Science degree in Adult Nursing in 2003 from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
After receiving her doctoral degree in nursing practice, So Hee practiced at UW Valley Medical Center Neuroscience Institute in Renton, WA for 4 years as a headache nurse practitioner. She treats patients with headache including migraine, tension-type headache, post-concussion headache, cranial neuralgia, trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias, cervicogenic headache, etc. She is passionate about providing integrative care for patients with headache as she believes headache is a multi-dimensional neurologic disorder that requires holistic approach other than medications. She also provides procedures for headache including botulinum toxin injection, sphenopalatine ganglion block, trigeminal nerve block, occipital nerve block, and trigger point injection. So Hee recently passed the Certificate of Added Qualification Exam in Headache Medicine, this qualification is awarded through the National Headache Foundation.
Outside of work, So Hee enjoys hiking, barre exercise, pilates, cooking, and spending time with family.
Adrienne McNamara, PhD
Adrienne McNamara earned her doctorate in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology and a minor in Nutrition from Oregon State University in 2010. She has extensive experience teaching exercise science and wellness concepts to individuals of all ages. Additionally, she has specific expertise in the field of exercise for balance and bone health for older adults, knowledge that carries over well to working with those with neurological balance disorders. She is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist, with an additional Exercise is Medicine credential. Dr. McNamara is also passionate about exercise and diabetes, as she is a type 1 diabetic athlete herself. She believes strongly in the medicinal function of exercise and the essential role that it plays in an individuals’ overall well being. She is currently the director of the Integrative Health Center and is available to patients for comprehensive fitness assessment and exercise counseling.
Joan Hogan, RD
Often recognizing patient frustration in satisfactory control of medical disorders with medication alone, Joan Hogan has found it very gratifying to greatly improve the quality of lives with a program that complements medical care. Joan has been a Registered Dietitian for over 30 years. During her years of providing Medical Nutrition Therapy she has recognized the impact of food sensitivity on many health conditions. Now certified in testing and therapy for delayed food and food additive hypersensitivity she is able to evaluate and counsel those who suspect adverse food reactions are contributing to their pain, disease, and discomfort. In order to keep balance in her life Joan competes in triathlons and enjoys ballroom dancing.
